'Dear Andy I recently replaced my garden shed with a bespoke, skilfully crafted and robust new construction. The new shed met all of my requirements, but did not benefit from an electrical supply, and therefore had no lights, and could not be used as a workroom, as I had intended. The solution – run a power supply to the shed. Who better to do the job than Andy Beaden. I had assumed that I would have to dig up the block paving between the house and the shed, lay stout cables and then try to replace the paving so that it looked ok. Andy’s solution was to route armoured cables around the periphery of the garden and make a short crossing from boundary to house where the distance was at its shortest – a much simpler and more elegant solution. Andy arrived to undertake the work and methodically and efficiently laid the cables, mounted distribution panels, light switches, internal and external sockets and finally made the connection to the main panel inside the house. This required lots of drilling, securing, lifting of carpets and floor boards and subsequent testing and certifying, all accomplished in Andy’s usual capable and unflappable manner. He even corrected some previous errors in the wiring and fixed some outdoor lights which stopped working months ago, all without “breaking a sweat”. Andy was efficient, competent, innovative and effective and I would certainly not hesitate in recommending Andy to anyone seeking electrical installation and renovation works. Andy is the man for the job. Thank you very much.'
